I have a problem with my antique clock because it does not chime occasionally.

General rule: the clock chimes every half an hour.

there are two problems:

1. the clock skips the chime sometimes, leaving the chime numbers to be irregular

e.g:

at 4 it chimes 4 times
at 4.30 it chimes once (because it is 1/2 hour chime)
at 5 it chimes 5 times
at 5.30 it skips the chime
at 6 it chimes once (because of the previous skip)

and even from 12-4 it does not chime at all!

2. the clock chimes where the minute hand is at 9 and 3. which means its 15 minutes earlier than the clock is supposed to chime.

How am I able to tackle these two problems? I really appreciate your help and advice :-) thank you

Michael

klinkt als de versnelling of enkele tanden misschien gebroken .. openen en een kijkje nemen, als je geen vertrouwen krijgt dan het aan een professioneel te repareren.
