A relative passed away in June. At the time there was a clock in the repair shop. It still is. Now there is a light fixture in the house that needs replacing since the ballast is bad and a fire hazard. Since the house is still in the name of the deceased, who should pay for these two repairs? 1. the estate account set up to pay estate bills, etc. or the person who will inherit the clock, in the case of the clock. or the person who will inherit the house, in the case of the light fixture. The estate account has already paid for a plumbing repair. There are two beneficiaries. One of them will inherit the house (and the other will inherit the other parent’s home in due time). The 2nd beneficiary has placed the antique clock on their “desired to have” list from the contents on the house, that will be divided as evenly as possible by comparing want list. I know my opinion and I know the opinion of the two beneficiaries. I’ll edit my question with those opinions once some answers come in from a few people. I’ll award the points to the person who agrees with my opinion, or who makes a good enough case for the opinions of the beneficiaries. HOWEVER, you won’t know these opinions before you answer, so make your best case with your first answer. Pretend I’m the will executor and convince me who should pay for these repairs. legally the personal representative(s) or executor(s) can do anything they wish with the estate’s assets as long as they do not infringe on the rights of any beneficiary, they meet all probate court deadlines and if there are two of them they do not disagree and have to get the judge’s help. I have an Uncle who was a rep. and gave away some money before the claims period was over, with the approval of the two beneficiaries of course. The judge jumped down his throat. The Uncle pointed his finger in the judge’s face and said sue me. Know what the judge did? Nothing. The personal rep. or executor has all the power as long as they meet the above criteria. to Lady Luck……I agree but in this case we are talking about things that do not function as they should. ex: There is a hole in the hallway where an old thermostat was located. This is an imperfection for the new owner to fix if they desire but not a needed repair. Currently the insurance company is balking on a vacant house policy pending the light being fixed and paid for by someone. the beneficiaries are in the house from time to time to divide contents, sort through trash, junk, etc. The clock was in the shop before the death. The light fixture looks to have been non functional too, before the death since it has not been turned on until now to check and see that everything in the house works. The water leak occurred after the death but before the deed was transferred and the deed has yet to be transferred and the estate paid the water leak repair out by the meter. It is not a factor, but the clock repair is $175 and the light fixture is $47 plus licensed electrician to install it to satisfy the insurance company that some dumb home handyman did not botch a job that causes a fire down the road. I’m going to select an answer. I am a co-rep. with my sister. We are also co-beneficiaries but not on the house. Since she wants the clock I was not sure who should pay for that in my mind. Really half the estate account funds are mine and half hers, so if the estate pays for the clock, then I’m paying 1/2 of the clock repair for an item I’ll not inherit. Since she has no reason to want to pay any home repair she is balking on the fixture. It’s not a light bulb, the whole fixture has a bad ballast that has browned the white ceiling tiles indicating over heating. Fire hazards are greater in vacant houses than non vacant. The reason the deed is not in my name is my sister is dictating the rules and we both have laweyrs. I’ll have to pay this light repair with electrician to satisfy the insurance company out of my pocket and hope to be re-imbursed by the estate. She says the house is vacant and not needed to repair. Clock not needed now either. I’m choosing the answer by Rosebud.

The Problem ¬¬¬Gloria is an antiques trader who has made a great deal of money from buying items at car boot sales. Gloria was asked by Maria, one of her regular clients who exports antiques to South America, to keep a look out for a grandfather clock. Because Gloria had heard that there were likely to be some bargains to be found in the Yorkshire Dales, she persuaded her friend Ahmed to drive her to a sale which was being held in Appletreewick. When they arrived at the sale-ground, Ahmed parked his car on a slight incline. The handbrake was properly applied. Almost immediately, Gloria found a suitable clock and Ahmed took it back to the car while Gloria telephoned Maria, who was very excited as she already had a buyer lined up. As Ahmed placed the clock in the car, he failed to notice that he had released the handbrake. Shortly afterwards, when Ahmed was not nearby, the car started to roll backwards down the incline. As it did so, it struck Jack, aged five, who was visiting the sale with his father James and his cousin Trudy. Miraculously, Jack suffered very little physical injury as the car passed over him, although he was shaken at first. James and Trudy witnessed the incident – which was over too quickly for them to intervene effectively - from a distance of a few of metres. The car eventually came to rest when it struck a tree. The clock was destroyed. Jack’s mother Delia arrived in her car, as previously arranged, to collect the family. At this point, Jack had calmed down and James and Trudy seemed in control of themselves. When Delia was told the details of the incident and saw the crash site she went into shock. Subsequently, she developed severe depression. Trudy now has PTSD and James complains of mood swings. Gloria was unable to sell the destroyed clock to Maria. Mijn Huis van de Droom
Mijn droomhuis zal een meesterwerk zijn, volledig van schoonheid. Het zal een grote familieruimte, een schitterende eetkamer bevatten, verbonden met roestvrij steel toestellenkeuken en de hoofdreeks, die mijn favoriete ruimte zullen zijn.
Mijn familieruimte is groot. Mijn baksteenopen haard, die in van van mijn op z’n gemak roomtik wordt geplaatst om laag. Boven mijn open haard, die op de room hangt is de gekleurde muur een veertig-duim vlakke het schermTV van Samsung. In de hoek van de familie is de ruimte mijn blauwe pluizige en op z’n gemak recliner, die voor mijn vader werd gekocht wanneer hij komt bezoeken. Het beste ding over deze ruimte is de popcornMachine, kunt u wat popcorn vóór u knallen horloge een film en dan kunt u met een grote kom van het gaan zitten. Verbonden met het mijn vlak scherm wordt mijn V.C.R mijn speler D.V.D en mijn filmprojector. Dit staat ons toe om om het even welk type van film, in om het even welke bepaalde tijd te spelen. De sprekers die in de muren, en onderaan de laag worden gebouwd staat de rand toe - geluid om het huis te schudden en u uit te nodigen in op de film u let. De bevloering van de familieruimte is een eiken hardhout, met bruine en beige gebiedsdekens, die ik voor de laag zou plaatsen. Op de linkermuur is er een venster ongeveer drie voet door drie voet, met beige, room, en bruine gordijnen. Dit venster staat binnen enkel genoeg licht toe om de ruimte omhoog te verlichten. Mijn familieruimte zal het welkom heten zodra ik de voordeur openstel om u binnen te laten voelen, zult u warm voelen, en getroost door de liefde mijn huis zal brengen.

In mijn hoofdbadkamers heb ik room betegelde vloeren met lichtblauwe gebiedsdekens verwarmd. Er zijn geen vensters in mijn badkamers omdat mijn badkamers van privacy alle-volledig is. De open haard in mijn badkamers is prachtig; het is één van de manieren het mijn badkamers in de winter warm houdt. Het toilet en de douche zijn op de zelfde muur, en mijn Jacuzzi is juist op de overkant van de muur, die s de twee badkamersgootstenen en de gigantische spiegel bevat waarin ik een lichte inrichting hierboven plaatste. Mijn bed is juist daar ook het beste ding is, is dat u van mijn badkamers van de gang en mijn slaapkamer kunt de plaats bepalen. Zo, is mijn bed koning die met gebeëindigde eik nightstand, opmaker, en het kader voor mijn bed wordt gerangschikt. Terwijl ik daar bij nacht leg kan ik op TV op het vlakke scherm letten, en luister met mijn rand - geluid. Mijn open haard wordt geplaatst net onder het mijn vlak scherm, en mijn de dekenrecht van het roomgebied voor dat. De verlichting in mijn ruimte is de lampen, en het plafondlicht. Zij zijn leiden zo dan ik kunnen wat geld besparen en een helderdere ruimte hebben.
Zo denk ik dat de hoofdreeks mijn favoriete plaats om is te zijn, de hele dag omhoog geknuffeld in mijn dekking met een brand die en op TV met Tivo let gaat. Mijn droomhuis zal de beste plaats om zijn te zijn en ik zal van het voor altijd, sinds zijn houden wat ik altijd van heb gedroomd.

My Dream House My dream house will be a masterpiece, full of beauty. It will contain a grand family room, a gorgeous dining room, connected to a stainless steal appliance kitchen and the master suite, which will be my favorite room. My family room is grand. My brick fireplace, placed in from of my comfy cream rap round couch. Above my fireplace, hanging on the cream colored wall is a forty-inch Samsung flat screen TV. In the corner of the family room is my blue fluffy and comfy recliner, which was bought for my father when he comes to visit. The best thing about this room is the popcorn Machine, you can pop some popcorn before you watch a movie and then you can sit down with a big bowl of it. Connected to my flat screen is my V.C.R my D.V.D player and my movie projector. This allows us to play any type of movie, at any given time. The speakers built into the walls, and underneath the couch allows the surround sound to shake the house and to invite you into whatever movie you are watching. The flooring of the family room is a oak hardwood, with brown and beige area rugs, which I would place in front of the couch. On the left wall there is a window about three feet by three feet, with beige, cream, and brown curtains. This window allows just enough light in to lighten up the room. My family room will feel welcoming as soon as I open up the front door to let you in, you will feel warm, and comforted by the love my home will bring. My gorgeous dining area is a romantic place to eat, while it contains a beautiful chandelier above the chestnut ding table, which can place up to eight people. Most of the light comes from an enormous six-foot window with cherry red curtains, which is located at the fare end of the room, facing the back yard. My old faded chestnut grandfather clock was bought from an antique auction; I placed it opposite of the archway in, which you come into the dining room from the kitchen. The kitchen is a fun stainless steal appliance kitchen with stainless steal counters too. The details in my kitchen will be extravagant with hand towels having pictures of apples on them, and my fridge even having apple shaped magnets. The cream tiled flooring is heated throughout, so when you making a pot of coffee in the morning your little toes will still stay warm. The best thing about my kitchen will be the window above the sink with curtains that contain apples on it. But if you don’t want to take your time to decorate and set up the table in the dining room you can just sit down and enjoy dinner, lunch, breakfast, in your kitchen at you finished oak table that holds a family of four, and the lighting overhead is a ceiling fan with an oak finish and energy conserved lights. The master suite is full of relaxing in my Jacuzzi and lighting the fireplace to enjoy a warm bathroom. In my master bathroom I have heated cream tiled floors with light blue area rugs. There are no windows in my bathroom because my bathroom is all-full of privacy. The fireplace in my bathroom is wonderful; it is one of the ways it keeps my bathroom warm in the winter. The toilet and shower are on the same wall, and my Jacuzzi is right on the other side of the wall, which contain s the two bathroom sinks and gigantic mirror in which I placed a light fixture above. My bed is right there too the best thing is, is that you can locate my bathroom from the hallway and my bedroom. So, my bed is king sized with oak finished nightstand, dresser, and the frame for my bed. While I lay there at night I can watch TV on the flat screen, and listen with my surround sound. My fireplace is placed right under my flat screen, and my cream area rug right in front of that. The lighting in my room are the lamps, and the ceiling light. They are LED so then I can save a little money and have a brighter room. So I think that the master suite is my favorite place to be, cuddled up in my covers all day long with a fire goi

I’m taking Theatre Development at Texas State and the professor has assigned our class to create, on a $25 budget, a list of items. One of them is an antique clock. It doesn’t specify how big it has to be. I just need a clock. Any ideas on how to create something like this???

¬¬¬Gloria is een antiquiteitenhandelaar die heel wat geld van het kopen van punten bij de verkoop van de autolaars heeft gemaakt.
Gloria werd gevraagd door Maria, één van haar regelmatige cliënten die antiquiteiten naar Zuid-Amerika uitvoert, om een blik voor een staand horloge weg te houden. Omdat Gloria had gehoord dat daar waarschijnlijk sommige koopjes zouden zijn die in de Dallen van Yorkshire moeten worden gevonden, overreedde zij haar vriend Ahmed om haar aan een verkoop te drijven die in Appletreewick werd gehouden.
Toen zij bij de verkoop-grond aankwamen, parkeerde Ahmed zijn auto op een lichte helling. De handrem werd behoorlijk toegepast. Bijna onmiddellijk, vond Gloria een geschikte klok en Ahmed nam het terug naar de auto terwijl Gloria Maria telefoneerde, dat zeer opgewekt was aangezien zij reeds een opgestelde koper had.
